Did Somebody Say Cabo?

My teammate Linda and I just got back from Los Cabos where we had a fabulous time!! We met some really nice folks from Minnesota, Boston, Tuscon, and Canada. The food was incredible; the drinks very generous; and the quality of the hotel and surroundings were pristine.

We did two excursions, a sunset dinner cruise and a whale watching tour. The best was the whale watching tour. We climbed on board this small boat with inflatable sides, straddled the seats and held on to the handles for dear life!! We literally flew across the water. We would slow down to scope out whales, then we'd take off to get up close and personal! Our tour guide said we were seeing things that he hadn't seen in the two years he had this job!! In fact, he kept us out there an hour longer than he should have, missed the next tour, and hoped he didn't lose his job. He was just having too much fun!! The whales were finishing their mating rituals and were breaching completely out of the water multiple times. It must've been really good! :) At one point, as we were sitting still and looking off at the distance, everyone started to scream because a whale came up from under our boat where we could actually touch him if we wanted. He was not liking us cramping his style in the least; he slapped the water with his fin and then swam away. Seeing the whales up close like that is too hard to describe in words. You just have to do it!! Thank you World Ventures for giving us the opportunity to make these kind of memories!!
